Further to our announcement last week that we have been successful in being awarded a grant from National Lottery England, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to be part of the delivery team.

We are looking for three self-employed regional facilitators (based in the North West, East or West Midlands, and South East including London) who can assist with:

  • Identifying and supporting participants (AAC users) to be able to access AAC communication clubs and identify those AAC users who are interested in accredited units and qualifications and non-accredited workshops for peer support and mentoring
  • Assisting with setting up regional communication clubs
  • Assisting with delivering accredited units and qualifications
  • Working with local partners and providers to disseminate information about the project
  • Presenting monthly reports and working with the Project Co-ordinator

Please note, we are looking for applicants who can provide evidence of self-employment including registration with HMRC and who have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

The commissioned work will be for approximately 18 days per year (specific days and hours are flexible) with a payment of £100 a day plus an allowance for travel and other expenses.

The work will initially be for a one-year contract with potential to extend.

Please download the person specification and send a CV and a covering letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications to: [email protected].
