‘Making Communication Even Better’ – a web resource
PRESS RELEASE
Education for Scotland, and Capability Scotland. It ensures that people with communication support needs have a central role in getting health service staff to think about the impact of communication disability on health interactions.
The resource includes:
- Ten statements setting out a vision for a good communication experience.
- Video clip for each statement, giving a personal story about why the vision is important.
- Reflective questions for staff to consider and apply, so they can improve their own practice.
- Signposting to other web resources for more information and ways of learning more.
