35 clinical sessions per month; approx 400 children per year.

– Assessment
– Loan (when equipment is loaned there is a school visit for training, followed by email/telephone support through 3 month loan, and further assessment at end of the loan period)

Staffing
– Occupational Therapists: 30 hours per week
– Speech and Language Therapists: 30 hours per week
– Consultant Paediatrician (inc Vision for Communication): 10 hours per week
– Assistive Technologist: 30 hours per week
– Clinical Psychologist: 2 hours per week
– Administration Assistant: 3 hours per week
– Speech and Language Therapy Assistant: 5 hours per week

Email for referral letter to complete. Service is funded via agreements with PCTs, and so referral is countersigned by Community Medical Staff. Currently, no charge made to Schools/Education.
