  1. Information from Specialised AAC and EC Services in England

From : Julie Atkinson, Chair AAC Advisory Group, NHS England and NHS Improvement:

The Specialised AAC and EC Services have been developing a website over recent months; the planned direction for this has changed in light of the current pandemic to focus on the creation of a repository for low tech templates and other free resources from specialised AAC services and suppliers to be available for anyone who uses AAC, their families and their local teams to access, especially around COVID-19

This link is specifically looking at resources from some of the AAC suppliers: https://assistivetechnology.org.uk/resources/

I would like to thank and congratulate Jon Rouston (Lincoln EATS), Paul Hewett (ACE), Will Wade (ACE), Matt Gopsill (Patient Representative) and Mike Ryan (ACT) for making this happen so quickly, as well as all those who have contributed so far.

  1. Telehealth Guidance for Speech and Language therapists and useful to others

From: RCSLT Website:

The unprecedented circumstances surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19 have led many speech and language therapists (SLTs) to undertake consultation, assessment and intervention remotely via telehealth. In some cases this is an extension of existing practice, in others completely novel. :
