AAC Evidence Base Research Project: April 2011 Update
The University of Sheffield and Barnsley Hospital held an AAC focus group in London on 7 April. It was a highly productive day and the discussion will inform the next stage of the research. And in May, Manchester Metropolitan University will be holding a focus group for commercial suppliers, with further groups to follow later in the year. These focus groups will look at the types of evidence that should be held in the AAC Evidence Base and the design of the user interface.
A leaflet describing the research project has been printed. It can be viewed on the research page of our website. If you would like to distribute the leaflet please contact the Research Manager for copies.
Later this year the researchers will be looking for people from across the UK to participate in the research. If you are a person who uses AAC, a family member, carer or practitioner, please contact the Research Manager to register your interest.
