Using iPads to Improve Learning Outcomes for Young People with Complex Needs, Autism and Learning Difficulties

MMU are working in partnership with Bridge College to run a one day course to give you more confidence in using iPads, when working with young people with disabilities, complex needs and autism.

Do you work in education, speech and language therapy or occupational therapy? This course is specifically tailored to your needs and will include a series of hands-on workshops that are delivered by experienced professionals:

  • Gain hands-on experience of using an iPad to support improved learning outcomes
  • Understand the iPads accessibility functions
  • Use iPads to create digital art
  • Use iPads to develop cause and effect and expressive communication skills
  • Apps to help students sequence routines and activities
  • Students and parents will share their stories on using iPads to support communication and learning
